Alex Martin started in 2010. We sell and let the buildings communities are built around — places of worship, nurseries, schools, doctors’ and dentists’ surgeries, gyms and leisure space. In planning terms that is F1 and F2 property, still widely known as D1 and D2. It is all we do, and has been for over 15 years.
Since then we have handled more than £500m worth of deals and brought over 400 buildings back into use. We also keep a list of more than 10,000 buyers and tenants who are actively looking. About us
As well as sales and lettings, we look after landlords, tenants and charities in other ways. Our RICS-qualified valuers value commercial and specialist buildings. We write Charity Act Designated Advisor’s Reports for charities buying or selling property, so trustees know they have done things properly.
We handle rent reviews and lease renewals for either side of a lease, and we advise on business rates, including the charity rate relief that can cut your running costs. We can also run your building day to day: collecting the rent, sorting the service charge, dealing with tenants and looking after the site.
