Dilchad was founded in 1962 by the Choudhury family, who are pillars of the local Bengali community in the East End of London to this day. Serving staple Bengali dishes this very building was a home for students, factory workers and even politicians, who would come together under our roof for a ‘taste and aroma of home’. Over the years, Dilchad has become the best Indian restaurants and paved the way for Indian restaurants up and down the country to serve what is now associated with a traditional ‘curry house
