Core Truck Driving School

At Core Truck Driving School, we train everyday people to step into the transport industry with the skills needed to handle heavy vehicles properly. We work with students across Sydney, Penrith, Campbelltown, Wollongong, the Central Coast, and Newcastle who are preparing to pursue truck driving licences.

It starts with the basics.

We provide training for Light Rigid (LR), Medium Rigid (MR), Heavy Rigid (HR), Heavy Combination (HC), Multi Combination (MC), and Bus Driver Authority pathways. Just to clear up a common question — we don’t issue the licences ourselves. Our role is to train you so you’re prepared for the official assessment.

Safety is something we talk about a lot. Probably more than people expect at first.

Honestly, driving trucks safely is mostly about awareness. Weight, braking distance, blind spots… the kind of things you only really understand once someone walks you through them properly. Our instructors have spent years in and around heavy vehicles, and those small lessons tend to stick.
