Davies Paints started its operations as a paint manufacturer in 1982. In 1990, the company started the distribution of marine paints and heavy-duty coatings in the Philippines under Maincoat, Inc. Today, Davies Paints already has a distribution network currently at 1,200 strong. Davies products are also widely available as they are sold in most hardware stores, modern retail stores, and paint centers nationwide. The company has also been recognized as the No. 1 local exporter of paints in the Asia Pacific region, currently exporting to Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Palau, Papua New Guinea, and Vietnam.
